General multiple precision arithmetic module for Python
GMPY2 is a C-coded Python extension module that supports fast multiple-precision arithmetic. GMPY2 supports the GMP library for integer and rational arithmetic and multiple-precision real and complex arithmetic as provided by the MPFR and MPC libraries.

To install py38-gmpy2, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install py38-gmpy2
To see what files were installed by py38-gmpy2, run:
port contents py38-gmpy2
To later upgrade py38-gmpy2, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade py38-gmpy2
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
