Versions of Perl's time functions which work beyond 2038
On many computers, Perl's time functions will not work past the year 2038. This is a design fault in the underlying C libraries Perl uses. Time::y2038 provides replacements for those functions which will work accurately +/1 142 million years.

To install p5.28-time-y2038, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install p5.28-time-y2038
To see what files were installed by p5.28-time-y2038, run:
port contents p5.28-time-y2038
To later upgrade p5.28-time-y2038, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade p5.28-time-y2038
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
