This port is deprecated since the project is no longer maintained upstream. It is likely to be removed from MacPorts at some point in the future. A startup item has been generated that will aid in starting postgresql81-server with launchd. It is disabled by default. Execute the following command to start it, and to cause it to launch at startup:
