PostgreSQL connection pool serverpgpool is a connection server program for PostgreSQL. It runs between PostgreSQL's client(frontend) and server(backend). Any PostgreSQL clients can connect to pgpool as if it's a real PostgreSQL server. It supports connection pooling, failover and replication.
