To configure the metabase service, edit environment variables as follows:
- Read document at https://www.metabase.com/docs/latest/configuring-metabase/environment-variables
- $ sudo vi ${prefix}/etc/LaunchDaemons/org.macports.metabase/metabase.wrapper
Once the service is enabled, metabase will:
- Listen by default on: http://127.0.0.1:3000
- Write logs to: ${prefix}/var/log/metabase/metabase.log A startup item has been generated that will aid in starting metabase with launchd. It is disabled by default. Execute the following command to start it, and to cause it to launch at startup:
sudo port load metabase
