BitchX - An IRC Client based on ircII w/ ANSI color and much much more.
BitchX is an IRC (Internet Relay Chat) client by Colten Edwards aka panasync@efnet, it is based on it's predecessors ircII and EPIC. BitchX was originally started as a script by Trench and HappyCrappy for the popular UNIX IRC client ircII. Around Christmas of 1994 the script was patched directly into the client by panasync.

To install bitchx, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install bitchx
To see what files were installed by bitchx, run:
port contents bitchx
To later upgrade bitchx, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade bitchx
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
