• If not done already, install MacPorts.
• To install xapian-bindings-perl5.30, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
  
  sudo port install xapian-bindings-perl5.30 Copy
• To see what files were installed by xapian-bindings-perl5.30, run:
  
  port contents xapian-bindings-perl5.30 Copy
• To later upgrade xapian-bindings-perl5.30, run:
  
  sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade xapian-bindings-perl5.30 Copy
