wkhtmltopdf and wkhtmltoimage are open source (LGPLv3) command line tools to render HTML into PDF and various image formats using the Qt WebKit rendering engine. These run entirely headless and do not require a display or display service.

To install wkhtmltopdf, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install wkhtmltopdf
To see what files were installed by wkhtmltopdf, run:
port contents wkhtmltopdf
To later upgrade wkhtmltopdf, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade wkhtmltopdf
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
