wakeonlan sends magic packets for network-devices to wake up
Wakeonlan is a Perl script that sends 'magic packets' to wake-on-LAN enabled ethernet adapters and motherboards, in order to switch on remote computers.

To install wakeonlan, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install wakeonlan
To see what files were installed by wakeonlan, run:
port contents wakeonlan
To later upgrade wakeonlan, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade wakeonlan
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
