Unison is a file-synchronization tool for Unix and Windows. It allows two replicas of a collection of files and directories to be stored on different hosts (or different disks on the same host), modified separately, and then brought up to date by propagating the changes in each replica to the other.

To install unison, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install unison
To see what files were installed by unison, run:
port contents unison
To later upgrade unison, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade unison
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
