UnicodeConverter is a Java program that converts text and HTML files in VNI, VISCII, VPS, TCVN, or VIQR/Vietnet format to Unicode UTF-8. The program, executable in both graphic user interface (GUI) and command-line modes, is capable of converting multiple files in a directory, or an entire directory, including its subdirectories. In effect, this enhanced capability enables conversion of an entire website to Unicode UTF-8 format with one single command or a few mouse clicks.

To install unicodeconverter-java, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install unicodeconverter-java
To see what files were installed by unicodeconverter-java, run:
port contents unicodeconverter-java
To later upgrade unicodeconverter-java, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade unicodeconverter-java
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
