SystemC addresses the need for a system design and verification language that spans hardware and software. It is a language built as an ANSI C++ class library created for design and verification. To install systemc, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install systemc
To see what files were installed by systemc, run:
port contents systemc
To later upgrade systemc, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade systemc
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
