STIFF is a program to convert FITS images to TIFF format.STIFF is a tool for converting FITS images to TIFF format in a visually appealing, but perceptually accurate, way. It is specifically designed to show faint detail in high-dynamic-range data while still retaining colour information for bright objects. It can create both 8-bit grayscale and 24-bit colour TIFF images.
