Smithy is a web frontend for git repositories. It's implemented entirely in Golang, compiles to a single binary, and it's fast and easy to deploy. Smithy is an alternative to cgit or gitweb, and doesn't seek to compete with Gitea and the like.

To install smithy, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install smithy
To see what files were installed by smithy, run:
port contents smithy
To later upgrade smithy, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade smithy
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
