Longstanding PowerPC Macintosh emulator. Requires an appropriate Macintosh ROM image and a copy of Mac OS (8.1 through 9.02), and these are not supplied with this port. The emulator will be installed into your MacPorts Applications folder.

To install sheepshaver, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install sheepshaver
To see what files were installed by sheepshaver, run:
port contents sheepshaver
To later upgrade sheepshaver, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade sheepshaver
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
