RtAudio is a set of C++ classes that provides a common API (Application Programming Interface) for realtime audio input/output across Linux (native ALSA, JACK, PulseAudio and OSS), Macintosh OS X and Windows (DirectSound, ASIO and WASAPI) operating systems. To install rtaudio, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install rtaudio
To see what files were installed by rtaudio, run:
port contents rtaudio
To later upgrade rtaudio, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade rtaudio
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
