Rootsh is a wrapper for shells which logs all echoed keystrokes and terminal output to a file and/or to syslog. Its main purpose is the auditing of users who need a shell with root privileges. They start rootsh through the sudo mechanism.

To install rootsh, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install rootsh
To see what files were installed by rootsh, run:
port contents rootsh
To later upgrade rootsh, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade rootsh
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
