TZInfo is a Ruby library that uses the standard tz (Olson) database to provide daylight savings aware transformations between times in different time zones. The tz database is compiled into Ruby modules which are packaged in the release. No external zoneinfo files are required at runtime.

To install rb19-tzinfo, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install rb19-tzinfo
To see what files were installed by rb19-tzinfo, run:
port contents rb19-tzinfo
To later upgrade rb19-tzinfo, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade rb19-tzinfo
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
