Active Resource (ARes) connects business objects and Representational State Transfer (REST) web services. It implements object-relational mapping for REST web services to provide transparent proxying capabilities between a client (ActiveResource) and a RESTful service (which is provided by Simply RESTful routing in ActionController::Resources).

To install rb19-activeresource, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install rb19-activeresource
To see what files were installed by rb19-activeresource, run:
port contents rb19-activeresource
To later upgrade rb19-activeresource, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade rb19-activeresource
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
