This package contains Rake, a simple ruby build program with capabilities similar to make. Rake has the following features: * Rakefiles (rakeʼs version of Makefiles) are completely defined in standard Ruby syntax. No XML files to edit. No quirky Makefile syntax to worry about (is that a tab or a space?) * Users can specify tasks with prerequisites. * Rake supports rule patterns to sythesize implicit tasks. * Rake is lightweight. It can be distributed with other projects as a single file. Projects that depend upon rake do not require that rake be installed on target systems.

To install rb-rake, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install rb-rake
To see what files were installed by rb-rake, run:
port contents rb-rake
To later upgrade rb-rake, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade rb-rake
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
