Mongrel is a fast HTTP library and server for Ruby that is intended for hosting Ruby web applications of any kind using plain HTTP rather than FastCGI or SCGI. It is framework agnostic and already supports Ruby On Rails, Og+Nitro, and Camping frameworks.

To install rb-mongrel, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install rb-mongrel
To see what files were installed by rb-mongrel, run:
port contents rb-mongrel
To later upgrade rb-mongrel, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade rb-mongrel
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
