Archive::Tar::Minitar is a pure-Ruby library and command-line utility that provides the ability to deal with POSIX tar(1) archive files. The implementation is based heavily on Mauricio Fernandez's implementation in rpa-base, but has been reorganised to promote reuse in other projects.

To install rb-archive-tar-minitar, paste this in macOS terminal after installing MacPorts
To install rb-archive-tar-minitar, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install rb-archive-tar-minitar
To see what files were installed by rb-archive-tar-minitar, run:
port contents rb-archive-tar-minitar
To later upgrade rb-archive-tar-minitar, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade rb-archive-tar-minitar
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
