testtools is a set of extensions to the Python standard library's unit testing framework. These extensions have been derived from many years of experience with unit testing in Python and come from many different sources. testtools also ports recent unittest changes all the way back to Python 2.4.

To install py39-testtools, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install py39-testtools
To see what files were installed by py39-testtools, run:
port contents py39-testtools
To later upgrade py39-testtools, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade py39-testtools
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
