Python module to interface with pkg-config. It can be used to check if a package exists, check if a package meets certain version requirements, query CFLAGS and LDFLAGS, and parse the output to build extensions with setup.py.

To install py39-pkgconfig, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install py39-pkgconfig
To see what files were installed by py39-pkgconfig, run:
port contents py39-pkgconfig
To later upgrade py39-pkgconfig, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade py39-pkgconfig
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
