Parse and work with Portable Executable (PE) files
pefile is a multi-platform Python module to parse and work with Portable Executable (PE) files. PE is the format used for executables, DLLs, object code, and other purposes on 32- and 64-bit versions of Windows operating systems. PE is also the standard executable format in EFI environments.

To install py39-pefile, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install py39-pefile
To see what files were installed by py39-pefile, run:
port contents py39-pefile
To later upgrade py39-pefile, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade py39-pefile
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
