mrjob is a Python package that helps you write and run Hadoop Streaming jobs. It fully supports Amazon's Elastic MapReduce (EMR) service, which allows you to buy time on a Hadoop cluster on an hourly basis. It also works with your own Hadoop cluster.

To install py39-mrjob, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install py39-mrjob
To see what files were installed by py39-mrjob, run:
port contents py39-mrjob
To later upgrade py39-mrjob, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade py39-mrjob
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
