cwcwidth provides Python bindings for wcwidth and wcswidth functions defined in POSIX.1-2001 and POSIX.1-2008 based on Cython. These functions compute the printable length of a unicode character/string on a terminal. The module provides the same functions as wcwidth and its behavior is compatible.

To install py39-cwcwidth, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install py39-cwcwidth
To see what files were installed by py39-cwcwidth, run:
port contents py39-cwcwidth
To later upgrade py39-cwcwidth, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade py39-cwcwidth
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
