Reimplementation of the Python stdlib smtpd.py based on asyncio
An asyncio based implementation of a server for RFC 5321 - Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) and RFC 2033 - Local Mail Transfer Protocol (LMTP). It is derived from Python 3’s smtpd.py standard library module, and provides both a command line interface and an API for use in testing applications that send email.

To install py39-aiosmtpd, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install py39-aiosmtpd
To see what files were installed by py39-aiosmtpd, run:
port contents py39-aiosmtpd
To later upgrade py39-aiosmtpd, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade py39-aiosmtpd
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
