GridDataFormats provides the Python package 'gridData'. It contains a class ('Grid') to handle data on a regular grid --- basically NumPy n-dimensional arrays. It supports reading from and writing to some common formats (such as OpenDX).

To install py39-GridDataFormats, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install py39-GridDataFormats
To see what files were installed by py39-GridDataFormats, run:
port contents py39-GridDataFormats
To later upgrade py39-GridDataFormats, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade py39-GridDataFormats
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
