Widget to display page-based documents for Qt5/PyQt5
qpageview provides a page based document viewer widget for Qt5/PyQt5. It has a flexible architecture potentionally supporting many formats. Currently, it supports SVG documents, images, and, using the Poppler-Qt5 binding, PDF documents.

To install py38-qpageview, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install py38-qpageview
To see what files were installed by py38-qpageview, run:
port contents py38-qpageview
To later upgrade py38-qpageview, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade py38-qpageview
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
