Palettable (formerly brewer2mpl) is a library of color palettes for Python. It's written in pure Python with no dependencies, but it can supply color maps for matplotlib. You can use Palettable to customize matplotlib plots or supply colors for a web application.

To install py38-palettable, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install py38-palettable
To see what files were installed by py38-palettable, run:
port contents py38-palettable
To later upgrade py38-palettable, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade py38-palettable
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
