This module offers a simple interface to query NTP servers from Python. It also provides utility text (mode, leap indicator, ...). Since it is pure Python, and only depends on core modules, it should work on any platform with a decent Python implementation.

To install py38-ntplib, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install py38-ntplib
To see what files were installed by py38-ntplib, run:
port contents py38-ntplib
To later upgrade py38-ntplib, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade py38-ntplib
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
