Construct is a python library for parsing and building of data structures (binary or textual). It is based on the concept of defining data structures in a declarative manner, rather than procedural code: more complex constructs are composed of a hierarchy of simpler ones.

To install py38-construct, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install py38-construct
To see what files were installed by py38-construct, run:
port contents py38-construct
To later upgrade py38-construct, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade py38-construct
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
