ATpy is a Python module aimed at seamlessly reading, creating, manipulating, and writing tables of astronomical data. To date, the following formats are supported: ASCII, FITS, VO, HDF5, and IPAC tables, and SQLite, MySQL, and PostgreSQL databases.

To install py38-atpy, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install py38-atpy
To see what files were installed by py38-atpy, run:
port contents py38-atpy
To later upgrade py38-atpy, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade py38-atpy
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
