pip is a replacement for easy_install. It uses mostly the same techniques for finding packages, so packages that were made easy_installable should be pip-installable as well.

To install py33-pip, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install py33-pip
To see what files were installed by py33-pip, run:
port contents py33-pip
To later upgrade py33-pip, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade py33-pip
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
