This is possible to do since X client programs communicate with the X server via the X protocol. The communication takes place over TCP/IP, Unix sockets, DECnet or any other suitable streaming network protocol.

To install py313-xlib, paste this into the macOS Terminal after installing MacPorts
To install py313-xlib, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install py313-xlib
To see what files were installed by py313-xlib, run:
port contents py313-xlib
To later upgrade py313-xlib, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade py313-xlib
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
