Kiwi is an implementation of the algorithm based on the seminal Cassowary paper. It is not a refactoring of the original C++ solver. Kiwi has been designed from the ground up to be lightweight and fast. Kiwi ranges from 10x to 500x faster than the original Cassowary solver with typical use cases gaining a 40x improvement. Memory savings are consistently > 5x.

To install py312-kiwisolver, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install py312-kiwisolver
To see what files were installed by py312-kiwisolver, run:
port contents py312-kiwisolver
To later upgrade py312-kiwisolver, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade py312-kiwisolver
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
