Most existing Python modules for dealing HTTP requests are insane. I have to look up everything that I want to do. Most of my worst Python experiences are a result of the various built-in HTTP libraries (yes, even worse than Logging). But this one's different. This one's going to be awesome. And simple. Really simple.

To install py311-requests, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install py311-requests
To see what files were installed by py311-requests, run:
port contents py311-requests
To later upgrade py311-requests, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade py311-requests
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
