WebSocket client for Python with low level API options
websocket-client is a WebSocket client for Python. It provides access to low level APIs for WebSockets. websocket-client implements version hybi-13 of the WebSocket procotol. This client does not currently support the permessage-deflate extension from RFC 7692.

To install py310-websocket-client, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install py310-websocket-client
To see what files were installed by py310-websocket-client, run:
port contents py310-websocket-client
To later upgrade py310-websocket-client, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade py310-websocket-client
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
