TLS Lite is a free python library that implements SSL v3 and TLS v1. It supports non-traditional authentication methods such as SRP, shared keys, and cryptoIDs, in addition to X.509 certificates. TLS Lite is pure python, however it can access OpenSSL or cryptlib for faster crypto operations.

To install py27-tlslite, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install py27-tlslite
To see what files were installed by py27-tlslite, run:
port contents py27-tlslite
To later upgrade py27-tlslite, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade py27-tlslite
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
