A Session and Caching library with WSGI Middleware
Beaker is a web session and general caching library that includes WSGI middleware for use in web applications. As a general caching library, Beaker can handle storing for various times any Python object that can be pickled with optional back-ends on a fine-grained basis. Beaker was built largely on the code from MyghtyUtils, then refactored and extended with database support. Beaker includes Cache and Session WSGI middleware to ease integration with WSGI capable frameworks.

To install py27-beaker, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install py27-beaker
To see what files were installed by py27-beaker, run:
port contents py27-beaker
To later upgrade py27-beaker, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade py27-beaker
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
