Axiom is an object database, or alternatively, an object-relational mapper, implemented on top of Python.

Its primary goal is to provide an object-oriented layer with the key aspects of OOP (Object Oriented Programming), i.e. polymorphism and message dispatch, without hindering the power of an RDBMS (Relational DataBase Management System).

To install py27-axiom, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install py27-axiom
To see what files were installed by py27-axiom, run:
port contents py27-axiom
To later upgrade py27-axiom, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade py27-axiom
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
