pup is a command line tool for processing HTML. It reads from stdin, prints to stdout, and allows the user to filter parts of the page using CSS selectors. Inspired by jq, pup aims to be a fast and flexible way of exploring HTML from the terminal.

To install pup, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install pup
To see what files were installed by pup, run:
port contents pup
To later upgrade pup, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade pup
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
