ProxyTunnel is a program that connects stdin and stdout to a server somewhere on the network, through a standard HTTPS proxy. This will allow you for example to access SSH servers when you normally only have http(s) access.
To install proxytunnel, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install proxytunnel
To see what files were installed by proxytunnel, run:
port contents proxytunnel
To later upgrade proxytunnel, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade proxytunnel
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
