It provides powerful request functionality, if built with CURL support. Parallel requests are available for PHP 5 and greater.

To install php54-http, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install php54-http
To see what files were installed by php54-http, run:
port contents php54-http
To later upgrade php54-http, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade php54-http
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
