pastel is a command-line tool to generate, analyze, convert and manipulate colors. It supports many different color formats and color spaces like RGB (sRGB), HSL, CIELAB, CIELCh as well as ANSI 8-bit and 24-bit representations.

To install pastel, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install pastel
To see what files were installed by pastel, run:
port contents pastel
To later upgrade pastel, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade pastel
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
