Install parallel on macOS with MacPorts

If not done already, install MacPorts.

To install parallel, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)

sudo port install parallel

To see what files were installed by parallel, run:

port contents parallel

To later upgrade parallel, run:

sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade parallel
