It always struck me odd that DBI didn't take much advantage of Perl's context sensitivity. DBIx::ContextualFetch redefines some of the various fetch methods to fix this oversight. It also adds a few new methods for convenience (though not necessarily efficiency).

To install p5.32-dbix-contextualfetch, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install p5.32-dbix-contextualfetch
To see what files were installed by p5.32-dbix-contextualfetch, run:
port contents p5.32-dbix-contextualfetch
To later upgrade p5.32-dbix-contextualfetch, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade p5.32-dbix-contextualfetch
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
