The DBI module enables your Perl applications to access multiple database types transparently. You can connect to MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle, Informix, Sybase, ODBC etc. without having to know the different underlying interfaces of each. The API defined by DBI will work on all these database types and many more.

To install p5.30-dbi, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install p5.30-dbi
To see what files were installed by p5.30-dbi, run:
port contents p5.30-dbi
To later upgrade p5.30-dbi, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade p5.30-dbi
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
