A perl 5 module for sorting of revision-like numbers.
Sort::Versions allows easy sorting of mixed non-numeric and numeric strings, like the 'version numbers' that many shared library systems and revision control packages use. This is quite useful if you are trying to deal with shared libraries. It can also be applied to applications that intersperse variable-width numeric fields within text.

To install p5.28-sort-versions, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install p5.28-sort-versions
To see what files were installed by p5.28-sort-versions, run:
port contents p5.28-sort-versions
To later upgrade p5.28-sort-versions, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade p5.28-sort-versions
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
